How to Choose the Perfect Shapewear for Each Stage of Your 360 Lipo Recovery

Lipo 360 is one of the most popular cosmetic procedures for shaping the body and enhancing a balanced silhouette. Unlike traditional liposuction, which usually targets specific areas, Lipo 360 addresses the entire midsection, including the back, abdomen, flanks, and waist, to create a uniform and natural contour from all angles. But like any surgery, it requires a specific recovery process to optimize the results. This is where post-surgery shapewear becomes essential.

If you’re considering a Lipo 360 or have already taken the plunge, it’s vital to have the right faja for each stage of the recovery process. Below, we explain which type of shapewear is ideal for each phase and how to choose the one that best suits your needs.

How to Choose the Right Shapewear

Selecting the right shapewear after a Lipo 360 should be based on several key factors to ensure it’s both beneficial and comfortable. Here are some aspects to keep in mind:

- Measurements: Buy your faja based on your actual measurements. It’s recommended to measure yourself after the surgery to ensure the compression level is appropriate without causing unnecessary pain or discomfort.

- Pain level: Your pain level and sensitivity in the treated areas will also influence which shapewear to use. If you’re more sensitive, you might need a medium compression garment until you feel comfortable with a firmer fit.

- Treated areas: The faja should cover all the areas that were treated.

Following these tips, we bring you specific recommendations based on the stage and areas targeted in your surgery.

First stage fajas

During the first two to four weeks after a Lipo 360, your body will be in a phase of swelling and sensitivity, making it crucial to choose a faja that provides support and comfort without excessive compression.

Recommended Models: M2005 or M2001

The M2005 and M2001 models are ideal for this initial stage. These fajas are designed with soft, elastic fabrics that provide a comfortable fit, allowing you to move without discomfort while still receiving adequate support. Their soft fabric also minimizes the risk of skin irritation, which is very important to avoid additional discomfort during the first few days.

These fajas are also designed to cover the areas the doctor worked on. If your procedure included areas such as the abdomen and flanks, these models offer adequate coverage to promote uniform healing and prevent fluid buildup or localized swelling. Remember, during this phase, your priority is comfort and gentle support without overly tightening the treated areas.

Second stage fajas

Around the third or fourth week, your body will start to adapt, and you may need a higher level of compression without sacrificing comfort. This is where second-stage faja comes into play. These provide additional compression, helping to reduce the remaining swelling and shape the final results of your Lipo 360.

If you only had liposuction on the abdomen and the mid and lower back area, we recommend the following styles:

C9000

A faja with straight back coverage and knee-length legs.

C9018

A versatile shapewear piece with a straight back that allows you to wear it under various outfits.

  • If your surgery included areas on the upper part of your back, a high-back shapewear with thick straps is recommended. This option ensures adequate coverage, especially in the lower underarm area and sides of the back, which are often sensitive.

C9001

A faja designed with high-back coverage and
mid-thigh leg length.

C9005

Shapewear with high back coverage in a boyshort style.

  • If you had liposuction in the lower abdomen area, it’s recommended to choose a full-length garment with leg coverage. This type of faja offers both horizontal and vertical compression, ideal for providing support in delicate areas that need more stability and preventing localized swelling. In contrast, short or boyshort styles provide more horizontal compression, which may not be enough for an area like the lower abdomen.

 C9019

Faja with high-back design and knee-length legs.

Choosing the right shapewear is essential to optimize the results of a Lipo 360 and ease your recovery. Remember that each stage of the postoperative process has specific needs, and your comfort and well-being are the priority. From the initial stage models to second-stage shapewear for firmer support, each type of shapewear has its purpose and benefits.

Make sure to consider your measurements, pain level, and the areas treated when selecting your shapewear. With the right support, your body will recover faster, and the results of your Lipo 360 will look incredible.
